Become A Community Nutrition Ambassador!
Are you a high school student and interested in nutrition education? Become a Community Nutrition Ambassador and help co-design TABLE’s nutrition education program!
What: TABLE has been educating local children about nutrition and healthy eating habits for over 10 years.It wishes to create a community-led Nutrition Movement, which engages the youth of the community it serves.
How: The Nutrition Ambassador Program will recruit youth to serve as Community Nutrition Ambassadors (CNA). As CNAs, you will help co-create nutrition education content. Under the guidance of the program staff, you will come up with innovative ways to make nutrition education fun, relevant, interesting, and engaging. You will have the opportunity to engage with community members, get their input, initiate project ideas, plan and develop effective strategies, and evaluate effectiveness of the newly designed education content.

Who: We seek enthusiastichigh school students (ages 14-18 years old) who are passionate about making a difference in their community and have a desire to contribute to the field of nutrition education to serve as Community Nutrition Ambassadors.
Time Commitment:We will meet twice a monthon zoom or in-person (as COVID allows) for ~10-15 hours total from September through December. There will also be ongoing engagement on GroupMe for learner-centered discussions.
