Chefs@Home

Each month, TABLE families receive a nutrition education kit with a healthy recipe. TABLE has entered a new partnership with Goodwill Industries of Eastern North Carolina, who will sponsor Chefs@Home for the next year. Each kit includes a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) activity for the kids. We hope these kits get your kids excited about cooking in the kitchen, trying new fruits and vegetables, and learning important nutritional information!

This month’s Chefs@Home kit features a Summer Rainbow Pasta Salad recipe! This colorful dish is perfect for hot summer days and includes tricolor pasta, yellow squash, zucchini, and bell peppers tossed in Italian dressing. Families can customize it with their favorite vegetables or add protein like chicken or chickpeas for a balanced meal.
