We are honored to be a recipient of $30,000 from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a result of their Thrive NC food festival. For the third year in a row, all ticket sale proceeds will be donated directly to North Carolina nonprofits that are committed to improving food security in our community. The other nonprofits are Farmer Foodshare, Urban Ministries of Wake County, and Urban Ministries of Durham.
Tickets to Thrive NC are now on sale and can be purchased at gothrivenc.com.
The food festival takes place May 7-8 in downtown Raleigh’s historic City Market. Attendees will enjoy a variety of samples and home-grown flavors from more than 65 local restaurants and breweries against the backdrop of live music. Additionally, guests will experience live cooking demonstrations both nights, showcasing award-winning chefs from across North Carolina. Reigning James Beard Foundation Outstanding Chef Ashley Christensen will host the demo stage on May 7 and 8.
