Court-Ordered Service

Volunteers who are performing court-ordered community service must disclose the nature of their conviction to TABLE staff prior to beginning volunteer service to be used for court.  Due to the work we do and the safety of our clients and volunteers, TABLE cannot accept volunteers who have been convicted of major offenses including but not limited to violent crimes, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of a weapon, crimes of a sexual nature, or theft crimes.

Individuals with charges of DUI/DWI, reckless driving, underage drinking, or drug possession may volunteer at TABLE, but are not permitted to drive for SnackChef and Delivery shifts (they may ride in the car with another volunteer driving).

Volunteers are responsible for tracking their own hours and for logging in when they come. At the end of your service, give us 48 hours notice to provide a PDF letter verifying the served hours.

Prospective leaders must undergo background checks prior to service. TABLE cannot accept Team Leaders/Interns with any history of charges of violent crimes, possession of drugs with intent to distribute, possession of a weapon, crimes of a sexual nature, or theft crimes. TABLE cannot accept Team Leaders/Interns for SnackChef and Delivery shifts with recent history (within 12 months) of DUI/DWI, reckless driving, underage drinking, or drug possession.
