Originally from Chicago, Ruby recently relocated to the Chapel Hill area after serving as a Foster America Fellow in Washington D.C. Ruby is committed to giving back and making a difference in her community. Ruby’s volunteer experience includes serving as a Crisis Line Counselor of a Suicide Hotline, as a Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected children in the court system and as a Life Skills Facilitator for jail inmates to name a few. She is excited to be TABLE’s Family Engagement Coordinator. Most of Ruby’s career has been spent within Fortune 500 companies as an organizational change agent and most recently as a Leadership & Life Coach of her own business. She is passionate about creating positive change on an individual level as well at a systemic level. She received her B.A. in Organizational Leadership from Dominican University and her M.S. in Public Policy from National-Louis University. She is a mother to two young boys and in her free time enjoys road trips, listening to podcasts and camping.
