Hunger Relief Programs Director
Megan Tice is an Asheville, North Carolina native who attended UNC Chapel Hill where she received a BA in Public Policy with a concentration in Poverty Reduction and a minor in Southern Literature. After working as the Project Coordinator for UNC Public Policy Megan returned to UNC for an MA in Folklore where she focuses her research around narratives of the American South. She joined the TABLE team as the Hunger-Relief Program Associate in 2019 and hopes to bring to her work a love of community and a neighbor helping neighbor mentality among the volunteers and students she works with.
When she is not at TABLE, Megan is married to Zachary Tice and a dog mom to an adorable rescue dog. She is a lover of long walks, baking homemade pies (she is trying to perfect her graham cracker crust), and books.
