William Spransy

William began volunteering for TABLE in 2008-2009 packing bags of food and delivering them to local children while earning his MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Over the years, William continued to support TABLE at various times and became a member of the Finance Committee in 2019. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2020.

William serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Eller Capital Partners, a multifamily apartment investment firm based in Chapel Hill and is on the firm’s investment committee. In his professional life, William has served a variety of real estate finance roles and has worked for firms in Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, as well as Washington DC, prior to his move to Chapel Hill.

William serves as an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate for the Leonard W. Wood Center for Real Estate Studies at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. He also serves on the investment committee for the Kenan-Flagler Business School Foundation’s real estate investment funds. In addition, William has served as the co-chair of programming for the Triangle Chapter of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leader’s Group.

Although not a native North Carolinian, William’s family heritage traces back to Chapel Hill and Carrboro as far back as 1918, a legacy he enjoys continuing. William is an avid UNC sports fan, outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys spending his spare time with his wife and two daughters.
