Ranee and her husband Sean met at Duke University School of Medicine. Since then, they did a full circuit of the Southeast, with Sean serving in the Army for 13 years. They were happy to return to the Triangle area in 2010. Ranee is a general internist and clinical researcher at Duke, where her research interests include the role of nutrients for chronic disease prevention. She has enjoyed volunteering at TABLE with her 2 daughters and feels strongly committed to TABLE’s mission of providing nutritious foods and promoting a healthy diet for children, with the hope that they will continue healthy habits as adults.
