Addressing food insecurity amongst our community’s children is a mission close to my heart.ย  In my early childhood memories, my belly was full.ย  However, I recall my mother carefully counting food stamps to ensure our family had enough to eat that week. ย  When times got tougher, we stood in line to receive food assistance from local organizations. It is with a great sense of gratitude for these programs that I joined TABLE, first as a volunteer, and now as a board member.

The first in my extended family to pursue higher education, I earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. I have been a financial professional for over a decade and serve families in our community as an Edward Jones financial advisor.

In addition to tenure in my field, I partnered with closely-held businesses and non-profit organizations through my management consultancy firm. For eleven years, I collaborated with leaders to create sustainable growth through customized strategic solutions that were immediately actionable and results-driven.

I strive to be a community partner that contributes through a spirit of service, inclusion and social and cultural awareness. I’m a marathon runner, avid world traveler, grateful mother and wife. My family feels blessed to call Chapel Hill our home.
