Jennifer Adams

Jennifer joined TABLE as Interim Program Director in 2023 and became a permanent staff member the following year. As Program Director, she leads the vision for TABLEโ€™s nutrition education programs, ensuring all efforts work together to improve childrenโ€™s overall health. She also oversees program quality and effectiveness, identifying challenges and implementing solutions to streamline processes and enhance impact.

Jennifer brings a background in nonprofit work and joined TABLE to pursue her passion for expanding equitable access to healthy food and nutrition education for all children. She is especially enthusiastic about TABLE’s farm partnerships and the high-quality, locally grown produce provided to the children served. One of her favorite TABLE moments was touring Faithfull Farms, learning about Farmer Howard’s practices, and finding ways to apply them in her own backyard garden.

A two-time graduate of UNCโ€“Chapel Hill, Jennifer holds a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition from the Gillings School of Public Health. She lives in Chatham County and enjoys spending time outdoorsโ€”running or walking with friends, hiking with her family and two dogs, and playing in the dirt
