Ashton joined TABLEโs staff as Program Director in August 2012 and has served as the Executive Director since March 2013. Since beginning her service as ED, TABLE has adapted its programs to better serve the community, serve more children, and become a staple in Orange County. She is incredibly proud of the organization that TABLE has evolved into and its impact on the community. She loves the people that make TABLE’s work possible and successful. Ashtonโs favorite TABLE story is when she delivered food with an intern to families in the snow. At one house, a little girl looked at her sister and said, โI told you they would come!โ
Before joining TABLEโs staff, Ashton served as a committed volunteer for TABLE while an undergrad at UNC. She completed her four-year degree at UNC Chapel Hill in 2012, majoring in Spanish and Communications. Ashton resides in Mebane with her husband Kyle and four sweet girls, Tessa, Ava, Elaina, and Mila. She and Kyle seek to reflect the love and character of Jesus Christ in their lives. Ashton loves learning about natural health remedies and the benefits of nutritious food, finding new ways to homestead, and reading.
